Introduction |
These pages are about the famous german diesellocomotive V200 (the twin-engine diesel-hydraulic built by Krauss-Maffei
and MaK, not the russian diesel-electric Taigatrommel).
You can read a short history of these
locomotives from the time they were built until they were taken out of service with german railways (DB).
On the page After-DB you can read about the interesting careers after the DB period.
In the tables you can find information about the V200 that still exists.
Pictures will take you to my pictures whereas More pictures you can find
a picture of almost every V200 that was build.
Finally, if you have read all these pages, you can go to the Links to visit
other V200 (related) pages and interesting sites about diesel locomotives.
This site is in english language (not german, not dutch and certainly not double dutch), so it should be easy to read for everyone.
When you have some extra info, photos you would like to share or remarks concerning the information shown, don't hesitate to send me an email.
Enjoy surfing these pages.
